Countersinking tool for making a hole with a flat surface as the floor for receiving a bolt head.
专利摘要:
A countersink tool for producing a bore (4) with a flat surface (5) as the base for receiving a bolt head (2) has a cutting head (11) with first indexable inserts (12) on its end face, the cutting edges (22) of which face the flat surface (5 ) to edit. In order to shorten the machining time and increase the tool life with a simple tool, identical first indexable inserts (13) are attached above the first indexable inserts (12) for machining the upper edge (6) of the bore (4), the effective cutting edges ( 23) form an acute angle with the cutting edges (22). Two machining steps are combined and the first indexable inserts (12) can be used as second indexable inserts (13) with their unused cutting edge (23). 公开号:CH710309B1 申请号:CH01557/15 申请日:2015-10-26 公开日:2019-12-30 发明作者:Pranzl Leopold 申请人:Pranzl Leopold; IPC主号:
专利说明:
Description: The invention relates to a countersink tool for producing a bore with a flat surface as the base for receiving a bolt head, which countersink tool has a cutting head which has at least one first indexable insert distributed over the circumference on its end face, the cutting edges of which process the flat surface. Such bores are made when the cylindrical head - for example with a hexagon socket - of a screw bolt should not protrude beyond the surface of a workpiece. It is known from practice to produce such holes by means of a countersink, as is known for example from DE utility model 8115158. The burr that arises on the surface of the workpiece must be removed in a further operation using a conical countersink. This requires a tool change that is time-consuming and labor-intensive. This tool change is particularly troublesome in production in a CNC-controlled machining center, since the tool carrier moves to a tool magazine attached at some distance, on which the tool change takes place, and then has to be brought back to the workpiece in a precise position. This takes machine time, which is particularly expensive for a machining center. It is therefore an object of the invention to avoid this loss of time with a simple and inexpensive tool. According to the invention, at a distance corresponding to the depth of the bore for the bolt head above the cutting edges of the first indexable inserts for machining the upper edge of the bore, at least one, but preferably at least two, second indexable inserts distributed over the circumference are attached, the effective cutting edges of which extend beyond the radius of the bore extend and run obliquely. Thus, the previously required two operations are replaced by a single one. Because the depth and the diameter of the bore are determined by the mass of the bolt head (and possibly a washer), which is standardized depending on the diameter of the screw bolt, the second indexable insert (s) can be arranged at a fixed distance from the first indexable insert (s). As a result, the countersinking tool is only slightly more complex than a simple countersinking tool. [0006] Indexable inserts are standardized in various forms. Further advantages are achieved by selecting indexable inserts which, when viewed from above, have the shape of a parallelogram (in particular a rhombus) with two acute angles, with all four edges being designed as a cutting edge. The acute angle is smaller than a right angle by the cropping angle. So the first and the second indexable inserts can be identical. Such indexable inserts are available as standard parts cheap mass-produced goods and in a design suitable for machining various materials from many suppliers or manufacturers. This enables the user to buy cheaply and to protect his machines by using indexable inserts that are suitable for a particular material. The first indexable inserts work the bottom of the bore with a cutting edge (hereinafter referred to as the main cutting edge), the subsequent cutting edge inclined to the angle of clearance (hereinafter referred to as secondary cutting edge) does not cut, and therefore does not wear out. The same applies to the opposite cutting edges if the indexable inserts are mounted offset by 180 degrees. According to a further, particularly advantageous, feature of the invention, the second indexable inserts are mounted so that their secondary cutting edges come into effect. For example, the first indexable inserts with a worn main cutting edge can be used as second indexable inserts because their secondary cutting edges, which have not yet worn out, come into effect. By moving or swapping the indexable inserts from bottom to top and twisting (turning), their entire service life can be doubled. The resulting cost savings are considerable. The angle by which the indexable inserts are rotated when moving is the sum of the angle of inclination of the upper edge of the bore - which is usually 45 degrees - and the angle of relief of the minor cutting edge, which is the complementary angle to the acute angle, which is in a range of 60 to 87 degrees. Depending on the design, not only one, but two, three, four or more indexable inserts distributed over the circumference can be provided. In a particularly simple and therefore preferred embodiment, there are two each. Then the cutting head has two longitudinal cut-outs which are offset by 180 degrees and are each delimited by an axis-parallel plane. Suitable recesses are provided in these planes for the positioning of a first and a second indexable insert. A cutting head designed in this way is particularly easy to manufacture and the screws that fix the indexable inserts are easily accessible for moving and replacing the indexable inserts. In the following, the innovation is described and explained with the aid of illustrations. It shows: 1: a workpiece with a hole made with the new tool, CH 710 309 B1 2: a side view of the tool according to the innovation, 3: like FIG. 2, rotated by 90 degrees, 4 shows a section according to AA in FIG. 2, 5: a section according to BB in Fig. 2, 6: a plan view of an indexable insert, enlarged. In Fig. 1, any workpiece, designated 1. It takes up a threaded bolt consisting of a bolt head 2 and a bolt 3. The head 2 is sunk in a bore 4 which has a flat and axially normal base 5. At the upper end of the bore 4 in the picture, the burr that was created during drilling is removed, one speaks of a broken edge 6, which is a phase of preferably 45 degrees. The axis of rotation is designated 7. The innovation relates to the tool for producing the bore 4 with the broken edge 6 in one operation. Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 show this tool. It consists of a shank 10 and a drill head 11 with first indexable inserts 12 and second indexable inserts 13, in the embodiment shown two each, distributed over the circumference. The drill head 11 is a cylinder with an extension 14 at the bottom of smaller diameter. The drill head 11 here has two downwardly open longitudinal cutouts 15 offset by 180 degrees, each of which serves as a chip chamber and is delimited by a plane 16 parallel to the axis, in which planes recesses 17, 18 as a plate seat and threaded holes 18, 19 for positioning a first one each Indexable inserts 12 and a second indexable insert 13 are provided, see also FIGS. 4 and 5. The indexable inserts 12, 13 are fastened by means of screws 20. The first indexable inserts 12 produce the bore 4 with a main cutting edge 22. Their pointed corners 21 describe a circle with the diameter of the bore 4 when rotated. The second indexable inserts 13 are at a distance corresponding to the depth of the bore 4 above the first indexable inserts 12 arranged and break with a minor cutting edge 23 the upper edge of the bore 4, so that there is a narrow conical surface with a generally 45 degree cone angle. The indexable insert 12 shown in FIG. 6 corresponds to one of the many standardized forms. In its basic form, it is a parallelogram with two mutually opposite main cutting edges 22 and two opposing cutting edges 23. Main cutting edge 22 and secondary cutting edge 23 form an acute corner 21 and form an angle 24 there. Its complementary angle is the relief angle when the indexable insert 12 acts as the first indexable insert 12 with its main cutting edge 22. If the main cutting edge 22 is blunt, the indexable insert 12 is displaced into the recess 18 in such a way that it acts as a second indexable insert 13 with its secondary cutting edge 23. The angle by which it is rotated is the sum of the angle of inclination of the upper edge of the bore (usually 45 degrees) and the complementary angle to the acute angle 24. The hole 25 is intended for a screw 20 for clamping the indexable insert. Overall, two machining steps are combined with a simple countersinking tool and the service life of the indexable inserts is doubled.
